A bit of my background. I was ordained at Notre Dame in 1974. My first assignment was as an administrator of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Milford (now in Warsaw) and as Vicar for the Spanish-speaking in the Plymouth and Goshen areas.
In 1976 I went to Austin, Texas for 33 years. My first six years were as pastor of San Jose Parish and then as pastor of Nuestra Senora de los Delores Parish for 33 years.
While at Delores, I had several other responsibilities: provincial superior of the Southern Province of the Congregation of Holy Cross, dean of the Austin South Deanery, and Diocesan Director for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development.
I've spent one year as Parochial Vicar at St. John Vianney Parish in Goodyear, Arizona and three years at Our Lady of Fatima at Notre Dame as a Holy Cross priest. I will be expected to participate in the community life at Our Lady of Fatima at Notre Dame and will continue to be a member of that local religious community.
Asking for your prayers as we spend this time together, I am
Your brother in Christ,
